Today- the wind hits the bell that sings “It’s Christmas Time”, as it is the first lucky day of December, the most awaited month of the year. Christmas carols can be heard anywhere now supported by the dangling christmas decors all around. There were lots of colors, lots of symbols, each are unique, each has their own stories. And what made it more special? It is not how tall your Chrismas tree is, nor how bright your lanterns are, but its how pure your heart is to share the season with the people you love, with the people you value the most.
In my 22 years of existence in this lovely planet Earth, I think I’m already done with the stories like that of Santa Claus and his red nose reindeer. Enough of those magical christmas socks along with these delicious candy canes that were usually place between windows hoping that tomorrow, something will show up inside. Those were the days where I expect gifts and aguinaldos from my ninongs and ninangs. But now, the world twisted a little bit, as I am already the one who are supposed to give surprises and presents to my godsons and goddaughters. It is as if time has wings on its back twisted along with the swirling wind to put me in this situation as fast as I could imagine.
More so, there’s a lot to anticipate this Christmas Season. Have a look on my events list, as it goes:
on the 13th : Got to celebrate Mom’s 47th Birthday. I’m really planning a simple yet memorable event for her. Hopefully it will push through despite of the tight budget this season.
on the 17th : Be at UST to witness the yearly Paskuhan Celebration of my beloved Alma Mater. This year will be a full-blown celebration as a preparation to its quadricentennial anniversary on 2011. No chance to miss it. Glad that it falls on a Friday.
on the 24th : Noche Buena with my family at Pasay, Manila. (mother side) We religiously get together during the season to spend the time with my grandparents whom I always wish to be stronger and better for the upcoming years. I love them so much.
on the 25th : Visits relatives at Novaliches, QC. (father side) This is where kids outnumber the adults (ouch! hate the term) like us. Its a pain on a pocket.
on the 26th : Our Lunaversary (the boyfriend and I). If you are not familiar with the term, Lunaversary is an anniversary in terms of months. And it is already our 59th month together. ♥ ♥ ♥
Well done.
But it is not yet final. I know that there will be a lot of twist on my schedule and hopefully, I could find time to repost them here. 24 days to go and its Christmas Time. May it be with your family, friends or you alone, I wish you to have a happy and prosperous season this year. Smile.
Merry Christmas to all of us. *advance
